Xiaomi’s next smartwatch to come with SpO2 sensor, claims report

With its next smartwatch, Xiaomi is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to track and measure blood oxygen levels, according to a report by GizmoChina. As per the report, Xiaomi has revealed that its next smartwatch is also going to offer the SpO2 sensor. The report claims that a teaser poster for the next Xiaomi watch was shared by the Xiaomi Smart Life Weibo account.

With its next smartwatch, Xiaomi is set to introduce a new feature that will allow users to track and measure blood oxygen levels, according to a report by GizmoChina. As per the report, Xiaomi has revealed that its next smartwatch is also going to offer the SpO2 sensor. The report claims that a teaser poster for the next Xiaomi watch was shared by the Xiaomi Smart Life Weibo account.
While this wearable device will first be launched in the company's home country China, it remains to be seen when the company plans to launch the same in international markets including India.

Recently, the company launched its first smartwatch in India at Rs 10,990 called Mi Watch Revolve.
The smartwatch features a stainless steel case with 46mm dial. The wearable sports an always-on display which is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The smartwatch offers features including heart rate monitoring, stress levels and body energy monitoring, sleep analysis and VO2 Max which checks the oxygen level in the body.
The device is water-resistant up to 50 meter and comes with 10 professional sports modes like running, hiking, cycling and more. The device is backed by 420 mAh battery which promises to deliver two weeks of battery backup.
