Tennessee Titans, 2024 NFL Draft live updates from second day
It's the second day of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Tennessee Titans filled a big need in the first round on Thursday, picking offensive tackle JC Latham with the seventh overall pick of the draft, which is being held in Detroit. Now, will Latham be able to adjust to the left side after playing only right tackle at Alabama?
The good thing? If it doesn't work, the Titans needed a right tackle anyway. Yes, that's where the team is on the offensive line.
The NFL draft enters Day 2 with the second and third rounds Friday. The Titans own the No. 38th overall pick, which equates to the sixth pick of the second round. They do not have a third-round pick this year.
Is it time for the Titans to address the defensive side? Remember, the Titans haven't picked a defensive player since the 2022 NFL Draft.
Two Nashville area players likely will hear their names on Friday. Cane Ridge graduate Adonai Mitchell, a Texas wide receiver, could go early in the night. And don't forget Ravenwood graduate Junior Colson, a Michigan linebacker.
Follow our live updates from the second and third rounds on Friday.
For 3 former Nashville area football stars: Their picks are in
Three former Nashville area high school football stars were selected this weekend in the first three rounds of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Ravenwood's Graham Barton and Junior Colson along with Cane Ridge's Adonai Mitchell have been picked in the NFL Draft.
Barton was picked in the first round with the No. 26 overall selection to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mitchell was picked in the second round with the No. 52 overall pick to the Indianapolis Colts.
And Colson was chosen with the No. 69 pick by the Los Angeles Chargers. That reunites Colson with his college coach Jim Harbaugh, the former Michigan coach.

2024 NFL Draft second round opens with trades
