A major new partnership has been announced between the Fiji Museum and EXPLORE Fiji, marking a united commitment to strengthen the role of culture in shaping Fiji’s national identity and tourism experience.

EXPLORE Fiji is a digital travel platform reimagined for today’s traveller - both visitors and locals - offering engaging stories, features, listings, and events from across Fiji’s tourism, hospitality and creative industries.

The Fiji Museum plays an important role in keeping Fiji’s culture alive and relevant for today and the future.

As Legacy Cultural Partner for 2025, the Fiji Museum will collaborate with EXPLORE Fiji on a year-long series of initiatives to spotlight the richness of Fijian heritage - from digital storytelling and editorial features to shared promotional campaigns and cultural event support.

In a statement, the Fiji Museum says it connects communities and global travellers by sharing authentic experiences and promoting Fiji’s rich culture and heritage.

Owner and Publisher of EXPLORE Fiji, Connie Chew says this is about more than showcasing culture - it’s about connecting people and honouring the cultural threads that weave through daily life in Fiji.

Chew says they’re not just promoting places to visit; they’re opening windows into who we are and where we’ve come from.

Fiji Museum CEO, Andy Lowe says they are thrilled to be partnering with EXPLORE Fiji, and look forward to sharing their work with the world.
