"I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast."
After Trump responded to Ocasio-Cortez calling for his impeachment, the progressive Democrat replied on X, "Mr. President, don’t take your anger out on me - I’m just a silly girl. Take it out on whoever convinced you to betray the American people and our Constitution by illegally bombing Iran and dragging us into war. It only took you 5 months to break almost every promise you made."
"Also, I’m a Bronx girl. You should know that we can eat Queens boys for breakfast. Respectfully," she added.
After she wrote that the decision to bomb the nuclear facilities was "absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment," Trump responded, labeling her as "one of the 'dumbest' people in Congress."
"Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the 'dumbest' people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before. The reason for her 'rantings' is all of the Victories that the U.S.A. has had under the Trump Administration. The Democrats aren’t used to WINNING, and she can’t stand the concept of our Country being successful again," Trump wrote.
He later added, "Go ahead and try impeaching me again, MAKE MY DAY!"
After Ocasio Cortez claimed she was a "Bronx" girl, she was slammed online for the claim. Many pointed out that for her most impactful childhood years, she grew up in the suburban Yorktown Heights, per the New York Times. She only lived in the Bronx with her parents until she was five years old.
“The town in blue is the suburb I grew up in. The town in red is the (richer, whiter) suburb AOC grew up in. The area in the black circle way down at the bottom is the Bronx,” The Daily Wire’s Michael Knowles pointed out in a post to X, with a map of the greater New York City area.
According to DataUSA, the median household income in the Yorktown Heights, where she lived during her childhood, is over $138,000, and the median property value is over $600,000.
